About Big Waters

Big Waters consists of two lakes one big aka Big waters and one small aka Little Big Waters both of which are located at Seaton Burn, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Big Waters lake is 22 acres in size and offers a big range of carp, bream, roach, rudd and tench.

The carp and bream are of specimen size with carp up to  26Lbs and bream of 7Lbs. Recorded.

Pleasure nets in excess of 20Lbs are a realistic target in good conditions.

Big Waters has continued to produce a good range of roach and bream throughout the year.

The smaller lake of the two known as Little Big Waters which is in close proximity to the large lake contains the same species as Big Waters and is noted for its shoals of good quality rudd.
